On Friday we had a visit from the BBC in response to the Children's Wellbeing Act that is currently being explored in Parliament.
Elaine Dunkley (BBC Education Correspondent) visited, to highlight how our school is going over and beyond for our children and families. They filmed throughout the morning, starting with the homework club, interviewing staff and children and asked about all the great things we do at school like the foodbank, Cool to Be Kind Week and Dare to Be Different Day. We talked about our partnership with the PTFA and Our Community Wardrobe. The children represented HWZ beautifully and were praised by Elaine.
